Laurel Oak Kids

A Ministry of Laurel Oak Christian Church

In today's families, both parents work, making after school programs critical during the school year and particularly during the summer. For children from kindergarten to sixth grade, Laurel Oak Kids offers what parents are looking for - additional learning time, supervised activities and a fun, safe environment.

By meeting with parents, our teachers can determine what each child requires after school. An older child may need more help to complete homework assignments, or a younger child may need special tutoring in reading or math. Our teachers understand that after a busy day at school, children need time to play.

During the summer months, Laurel Oak Kids provides a summer program. The children participate in structured activities, free play, outside play and field trips.

Our children attend Friendship ElementaryWallburg Elementary, and Ledford Middle which are part of the Davidson County School System.

Important Dates for March

March 13 - We will begin our annual NCAA Tournament bracket contest for the kids. Parents can take part, too, in helping the kids fill their brackets. The winner(s) will get a prize at the completion of the Tournament in April.

March 31 - School is out for a teacher's workday. There will be a sign up for all day care for that day in the middle of March.

Summer Camp registration will begin in late April or early May....
